Overview
Trading Simulator is a paper-trading app. It does not open a brokerage account, execute real trades, or hold real money or securities.
Information we collect
The app creates a random, app-specific device identifier. We store that identifier with your simulated cash balance, positions, average costs, watchlist, simulated trade activity, time zone, and account-equity history. The app may also use local storage and caches to load your data faster.
How we use information
We use this information only to provide the paper-trading experience, keep the simulated portfolio available for this device, display market data and charts, prevent service abuse, and maintain service reliability.
Third-party services
Our server uses third-party services to provide market and company data. Only the stock symbols and request details needed to return that data are sent to those services; your simulated portfolio and device identifier are not sent to them.
Tracking and advertising
We do not sell your information, show targeted advertising, or use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while it is needed to provide the device-based paper account. Detailed chart samples may be shortened or aggregated over time. Reset Paper Account clears simulated positions and activity and resets saved chart history after the change syncs to the server. The device identifier may remain to preserve the device account and protect the service. To request complete deletion, use the developer contact shown on the app’s App Store product page and include the device details requested there.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions and deletion requests can be sent through the developer contact on the app’s App Store product page.
